The first stanza goes something like this:

tsukiwa oboroni higashiyama
kasumu yogotono kagaribini
yumeno izayou benizakura
shinobi omoiwo furisodeni
gion kioshiya dararinoobiyo

A thorough search will probably get you the rest of the lyrics.

Plus, if you find Gion Kouta in Japanese, it's all going to be spelled out in hiragana.  So if you have a small Japanes dictonary, it's not hard to go through and write in the syllabills... I've done this for my shamisen texts, it's much easier than I think many would think :D  :D

B-san,

I don't know if you already have it or not, but the DVD "Geisha Blues" shows kouta lyrics in romanji as well as the translations as the songs are being performed. If you're thinking of learning kouta, this might be a useful source.
