Ever feel you're in a bit of a rut with dressing? Finding yourself unintentionally wearing the same colours or outfits all the time? Haven't found inspiration to create something different? Want to experiment with an out of season outfit, but are terrified of posting it in the gallery? Or just plain ol' want an excuse for dressing up?
*drum roll*
Well - the Immortal Geisha Kitsuke Challenges are for you!
The way this will work is that as we think of new challenges, we'll post them. If you have any ideas for a challenge - feel free to PM one of us mods letting us know, and we'll put it in.
A few points:
This is not a competition! Anyone can participate, whether you're a beginner or advanced dresser. There are absolutely no losers - everyone who posts an ensemble is a winner!
There is no strict "traditional kitsuke" rule! If you want to post an outfit that is a little more on the hime side, as long as it falls in with the theme - go for it! Any exceptions to this rule will be clearly marked at the top of the thread.
There is no time limit! That's right - no time limit! So, if you feel inspired at the beginning of Spring to put together a chrysanthemum outfit - go for it! Likewise, if you have 4 feet of snow outside your front door, but you're dying to try your latest Ro ensemble - post away! If you simply just want time to think about your ensemble - think as long as you like...the thread will still be there!
Critics This isn't a critic section - so feel free to put together your outfit and post. However, if you DO want critics - be sure to let people know so they can jump in and help you!
Cross posting an outfit to another challenge thread Did you manage to get super sneaky and create an awesome outfit that goes with multiple challenge threads? Go forth and feel free to show it off in all the relevant challenge threads, you clever duckie, you!
Last, but not least, and perhaps most important:
Have Fun! Don't be afraid to jump in and participate! All that we ask for is that you stay relevant to the theme, and that you put effort into your ensemble.

Here, a list of the current challenges; I gathered it'd be nice to do this since some challenges require certain items and others not... Also, the titles, while fun, can be somewhat obscure.
