Hello everyone,

I have a (rather urgent) question.
Tomorrow I'll probably be wearing my kimono out for the first time to a cherry blossom party.
It is supposed to be a rather formal event so I decided to go with my houmongi. Now since I currently only have one obi, a fukuro (my other is still not in  ) I was wondering what would be a suitable option for the musubi?
Should I just go with the otaiko musubi? I don't have to much experience tying obi so something simple might be best. On the other hand, I do want it to suit the situation.

What do you guys think?

Otaiko is suitable and easy. I have instructions for others, but they would probably require practice

Taiko :) I was together with the group you're going with last year Oktober and wore houmongi aswell (actually its a furisode but the sleeves got cut before I bought it so its a houmongi now) and had my obi in Taiko musubi so thats suitable enough :)
