I've been working on a few projects over the last month or two but I just now have time to post them...
Over the span of a couple of days I sewed this-
Image

It may not be too accurate since I was just eyeballing everything but I'm pretty proud of it. This was taken in December a few days before Christmas.

And this-

I really love crashing waves and I really wanted something kinda bold. This took me about an hour starting with plain white silk. In this photo its just pinned together with the collar stiffener slipped through so I could take the shot but later it'll be sewn to my red Juban. I took this one sometime last week.:D I'm pretty sure they're both wrapped the wrong way and for that I do apologize but I had a baby in the background going 'dadadada' so...
Please lemme know what you guys think!

I like the design on the han eri very much! :lovelove
Is it going to be only on one side? If yes it would be IMO nice to put it on the left side to show it a little bit more when worn :)

The hada juban looks very good too. Are you going to use it for men's or women's kitsuke? For women's I think the back could be cut a little deeper but you can always pull it lower I guess :)

Good job! :katana:

This han-eri is so cute. :lovelove
Which way do you paint it? Is it made with fabric pencils? I wonder that the paint don't bleed the fabric.

stepan_san : Thank you :) It is only going to be on one side, mostly because I'm too lazy to repaint it. Maybe later when I do the next one I'll do it double sided. The hada juban is meant to be unisex. I found if I pull it kinda low it works just fine for women's. :katana:

kim-oh-no Thank you! Actually, I used sharpies! :katana: I drew it with a pencil then colored just inside the lines so the bleeding wouldn't go any farther then I wanted. It turned out so great! :coy:

That han'eri turned out fantastic. What a great idea doing it with sharpies! That'd fix it, so it won't bleed once dried, right?

What's your hadajuban made out of? It looks nice and cool. :kawaii:
