I have a bunch of these from Daiso. I don't know if they are really any better or worse compared to tatoushi but I prefer the way the storage bags handle.

I don't use tatoushi paper right now. My cats eat paper. So that's why I'm looking at these bags. Do they fit the kimono well though? Because if so I'm going to save up and buy some

I can't speak to those specifically but my Daiso ones are the perfect size to put the kimono inside when folded in half, since the bag is longer than typical tatoushi.
